The AMSAM Travels and Opportunities is a social enterprise model designed to uncover and bring to the fingertips of youth, women and other demographics, life changing opportunities. Our goal is to enable at least 10,000 of the world’s population access meaningful opportunities every day in scholarships, bursaries, conferences, symposia, workshops, short term trainings, internships, jobs and other career development options. We seek to curtail the high risks young people take to migrate to countries through unconventional means and to help travelers find free useful tips on visas, tickets, hotels, tourist locations, leisure, cultures and other vital ‘before travel” tips. The opportunities are posted on AMSAM Travels and Opportunities website, Facebook Page, Youtube Channel, Instagram, Twitter, linked-in and other platforms for those seeking to apply directly by themselves with a step by step process explained in each write-up and video. Those who seek our direct (professional) assistant (filling forms, writing better CVs, Cover and Reference Letters, essays, and other auxiliary travel services) to help them obtain any of the opportunities MUST fill our contact form expressing their request. Direct Professional Services (DPS) rendered during job and other opportunities are subject to charges/fees and will be communicated to, and requested of the applicant.
About our Founder/His Vision
Samuel D. Karyah is an Entrepreneur and Activist with a progressive people centered charisma. He founded Amsam Travels and Opportunities to help alleviate the hurdles youth around the world and other travelers go through every day to meet their travel and career goals. He cultivates and shares life-changing opportunities to visitors and subscribers to meet their opportunity and travel needs. As the Lead Facilitator of Amsam Travels and Opportunities, Samuel leads the development and execution of the organization’s strategies with a view to creating shared value and plans day-to-day management decisions for implementing long and short term goals.
He is a 2009 Mission candidate award recipient from the Center for Women and Children Empowerment (CEWCE), 2010-2013 Action Partner of Oxfam International Youth Partnerships, and 2014 Africa Social Innovation Award recipient from the International Youth Foundation through its SET Africa Fellowship Program. Samuel is a Mandela Washington and Global Food Security Fellow and has provided Program and Agribusiness Support to Components I & II of Liberia Agribusiness Development Activities a USAID Feed the Future funded Project focused on stimulating Private Sector investment in Liberia’s Agricultural Input Supply System, Post-Harvest Loss Prevention and Processing, with specific emphasis in Business Development Services. He has nearly a decade and half experience of travels across Asia, Africa, Europe and North America and is passionate about helping people succeed along their travel and career journeys.
With 14 years of travel and opportunity experiences, our founder realizes that seeking opportunities come with a lot of challenges from surfing the internet to getting the right opportunities to submitting application and wishing to get selected. Many persons get mixed into the wrong internet contents which extend their dilemmas. The less than 3% of those who are successful also face bigger challenges with accessing the right visas and other travel related add-ons.
